Miners

Who is a miner?

A miner is a user that executes public operations that keep the protocol lively. Public operations are actions that anyone can perform. Miners are responsible for the following:

  • Un-drafting mediators.
  • Executing dispute ruling.
  • Transferring protocol revenue to staking pools.

Is mining incentivized?

Yes. Miners are rewarded via inflation; new P2P tokens are minted as a reward for mining.

How can I become a miner?

There are no special criteria for miners. It is as simple as connecting your wallet and clicking a button to initiate and sign transactions.
