The Joint Protocol introduces its flagship NFT project, which is known as DroidPD (Droid Police Department). DroidPD is the medium by which the protocol and community tell the story of decentralized, person-to-person commerce. It is also the protocol’s mascot, which holds a significant role in protocol governance and economics.

In a distant universe known as FreeDroid, billions of lifeforms from different planets, moons, asteroids and nebulae co-existed and traded together in peace, fairness and harmony. These species thrived on their ability to share ideas, inventions, recipes and procedures freely and without restrictions.

The Joint Protocol allows Droid holders to earn a share of the protocol’s revenue by staking their NFT. When a Droid purchases Energon, the Energon not only allows the Droid to participate in protocol governance but also automatically stakes the Energon into the protocol’s FeePool.
📄️ P2P
The P2P token is the native token of the Joint Protocol to be used as a governance and incentive token within the Joint protocol. With the goal to unite the Joint Protocol and DroidPD ecosystems, 10% of the P2P supply has been allotted to the DroidPD NFTs. This allocation is to be distributed to every one of the 10,000 Droids randomly and based on the composition of traits.
📄️ Energon
Energon is an experimental concept for the DroidPD ecosystem. It is still undergoing development. While Energon is an ERC20 token, it should only be considered as a point system at this time.

📄️ FreeDroid
Based on the DroidPD story, FreeDroid is an alternate, fictional universe. The home of the DroidPD and other Droid-like beings. A universe whose inhabitants are robots that live in peace, engaged in commerce and exchange of ideas until everything got disrupted by another lineage of Droids — The bandits. DroidPD is the police department dedicated to keeping the peace and ensuring continued trading and exchange of ideas.
